ENOSatyagraha, directed by Phelim McDermott and associate directed and designed by Julian Crouch with video by Leo Warner and Mark Grimmer for Fifty Nine Productions returns to the ENO.

Becs Andrews is designing Momo for Stadt Theater Bern.


The Addams Family, a new musical starring Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth, directed and designed by Phelim McDermott and Julian Crouch, broke box-office records in Chicago. The show opens on Broadway in April.


Janet Bird has designed the UK tours of Alan Bennett's The History Boys and Enjoy and Edinburgh Lyceum's The Beauty Queen of Leenane. Her designs for The Rocky Horror Show can also be seen on national tour.


GamblingGeorgina Lamb has co-created and choreographed Gambling at Soho Theatre.


Ian Emes has just won a Children's BAFTA for directing Bookaboo for CiTV/Happy Films.

Jack Murphy has choreographed the feature film Bright Star directed by Jane Campion..


Christine Walmesley-Cotham has won the BAFTA Craft Award for Hair and Make Up Design for Miss Austen Regrets. She is currently working on Joe Maddison's War for Mammoth. 


Abbey TheatreNaomi Wilkinson has designed Christ Deliver Us for the Abbey Theatre, Dublin and NQR for Scottish Dance. She is currently working on Alice for Sheffield Crucible.


Steven Hoggett has won Best Theatre Choreographer Olivier Award for Black Watch at the Barbican.  

IIn addition, Black Watch, which featured Jack Fortune and video design by Leo Warner and Mark Grimmer for Fifty Nine Productions, won another 3 Oliviers.

Nick Powell is composing the music for Dunsinane for the RSC, Paradise for Theatre Rites and The Crucible for the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park.


Lizzie Powell is designing the lighting for Treasure Island at Citizens Theatre, Glasgow, Any Given Day at the Traverse, Pobby & Dingan for Catherine Wheels and Huxley's Lab for Grid Iron.


Katharine Williams is designing the lighting for Joined Up Thinking at the Young Vic and The Goat, Or Who is Sylvia for the Traverse, Edinburgh..  


Request Programme in Cologne which featured extensive video by Leo Warner for Fifty Nine Productions  has been nominated on to the ten most remarkable productions of the year by the Berlin Festspiele.


Steven Hoggett has won the TMA Award for Best Director for his work on Frantic Assembly's Othello which he directed with Scott Graham. A new production of Frantic's show Stockholm directed by Steven is about to open in Australia.


Following their third successful production in the building Leo Warner and Mark Grimmer (Fifty Nine Productions) have been appointed Video Design Associates of the National Theatre by artistic director Nicholas Hytner.

Angela Davies is designing the first production of National Theatre Wales, A Good Night Out in the Valley. She is also designing Henry VIII at the The Globe, Rigoletto for Grange Park Opera and The Prince of Homburg for the Donmar Warehouse.


Paul Hunter is directing Low Pay? Won't Pay! at Salisbury Playhouse.


American IdiotSteven Hoggett has choreographed the musical of Green Day's American Idiot in Berkley, California. The show opens on Broadway in April.


Olivier AwardFifty Nine Productions have designed the video for two Olivier nominated shows:

Kim Brandstrup's Goldberg at the Royal Opera House, nominated for Best Dance Production and War Horse at the New London Theatre which is nomiated for The Audience Award for Most Popular Show.



Young Vic

Patrick Burnier has designed Eurydice directed by Bijan Sheibani for ATC and the Young Vic. He is also designing Joe Turner’s Come and Gone directed by David Lan for the Young Vic.



Les MisFifty Nine Productions have designed the video for the 25th Anniversary production of Les Misérables which opened in Cardiff and is now on national tour.


Colin Richmond is designing Absent Friends for Oldham Coliseum, Dancing at Lugnassa for Birmingham Rep, Sweeney Todd for Dundee Rep and a national tour of The Three Muskateers.


The National Theatre's War Horse, is now at the New London Theatre in the West End. The production's video design is by Leo Warner and Mark Grimmer for Fifty Nine Productions and the show features actors Colin Mace, Anthony Shuster and Stephen Harper. The show will be opening at the Lincoln Centre, New York in April 2011.


Liam Steel is co-directing Into the Woods at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park.


Garance Marneur has designed Huck directed by John Terry, now on national tour. Her designs for Gianni Schicchi can be seen in rep at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg.

Geogina Lamb is choreographing Romeo and Juliet at Stratford.

The Pitmen Painters at the National Theatre has won the Evening Standard Award for Best Play.  It was designed by Gary McCann with lighting design by Douglas Kuhrt. The production transfers to New York in October.


ATC's The Brothers Size designed by Patrick Burnier has been awarded Best International Show by the Association of Critics of Barcelona.


Douglas Kuhrt has designed the lighting for Britain's Got Bhangra for Rifco, Piccadilly Revisited for China Arts and a Bill Kenwright tour of Witness for the Prosecution..
